Is an accu clean electronic air cleaner something I should consider when updating my furnace?
-I’m replacing my 25 Year Old furnace
-the cost for the air cleaner was just under 1000 dollars
I prefer a media filter,they do not break down,a space gaurd 5000 is both a media and electronic filter.I am not familiar with the specific product you’ve been quoted but it seems a bit pricey.Get another estimate for job if you haven’t already.

Fourth, a decision that defies common sense is including scent cartridges in air purifiers with activated carbon. Since activated carbon removes odors from the air, why is chemical fragrance included? why do todays car companys today cover the engines with plastic instead of leaving the air cleaner exposed?
Why do car company’s today cover the top of the engines with plastic covering? Why don’t they leave the air cleaner exposed like on older cars why do they insist on hiding it under plastic covering? is there a reason for this? Thanks for your answers.
It’s simply to make it look nice so they can sell it. Easier when they can design it ugly and just cover it up. It serves no purpose. Some vehicles have service bulletin to remove the cover because it is trapping heat and ruining plastic vacuum lines.
