How big will my Elephant Ear plants get the first year?
The tubers are from walmart and are about 2 1/2″ in diameter and 5 inches long. They are “mammoth” bulbs. The tag says they will get 5-6 Feet Tall…but will they do this in the first year. I am planning on fertilizing them, and they will get pleanty of water also. Also what about the colocasia type too?
Here is a site that says that they will grow 3 to 5 feet the first year. I don’t know where you are, so I don’t know if they will die back every year, but this site will tell you how to take care of them.

Need bulk amounts of calla lillies and dahlias?
At our school we are looking to make our part of the world a bit greener and prettier, the kids decided by vote for Dahlias and Calla lillies. We “don’t” need premium bulbs or tubers, we also don’t care what color or type, but we have 1500sf to cover.
Any ideas where we can get these at reasonable cost?
We are located in Central Florida, no need to lift here, thanks for the info.
