How do I remove the drive wheel of my power Lawn Mower?
The wheel broke and I want to remove the plastic hub from the axel and replace the wheel. There’s a hex nut on the outside holding it on. But when I go to loosen the hex nut, the axel turns. This goes into the drive motor. How do I keep the axel from turning while I loosen the nut?
Take hold of the axle with a pair of vise grip pliers. Another way is to put your wrench on the nut and hit the wrench with a hammer.
