How do you cure brown leaves on a palm tree?
I know someone that has a palm tree, (Indoor Plant) the leaves started turning brown on all the tips and the sides of the the leaves. Is there anyway that it can be fixed? Some kind of concotions. or something from the store, watering regularly doesn’t seem to help. Any help but prefer a gardeners advise would help. Thanks

The tips of my indoor Palm Tree are turning brown..what is happening?
The tips of my Palm Tree are turning brown. Someone told me to clip that portion off, now the clipped portion is turning brown. What is happening?
Clipping off the tips is OK, you need to clip them t the angles that they were before not straight across, it is a living plant, make sure that you let it get light, you may also need to re pot it, sometimes the roots get to tangled up and need to be re-potted. If you want to keep the same container, you can pull it out and trim all the SMALL roots making sure that you leave the thickest roots alone, they are established and fine. Another thing you may want to try is getting a small dowel or stick and push it into the soil, this lets the soil have air and the water go all the way through 6 10 whole poked through the soil to the bottom. It is like the circulatory system, all needs to circulate.
